With increasingly promising performances in the books in the previous rounds of the championship at Sebring, Watkins Glen, and Indianapolis, Lamborghini Iron Lynx is set to line up for the final round of the 2024 IMSA and Michelin Endurance Cup season, the Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

One hour away from the vibrant Georgia capital, home to famous sparkling beverage and the world’s busiest airport, the 4-kilometre racetrack is renowned as one of the world’s trickiest with plenty of ups and downs, a bumpy surface and unforgiving high-speed corners. Traffic is also expected to be a major issue throughout the full distance, and passing will need to be perfectly-timed and executed for the delight of thousands of fans cheering from grandstands and perennially sold-out campgrounds.

Matteo Cairoli, Andrea Caldarelli, and Romain Grosjean will share driving duties again, returning to action after their brilliant Indy display. The Italian combo has been in the hunt for the podium for a while in IMSA, while the quick Frenchman, who rejoined them at Indy, is willing to build on his blistering opening stint at the Brickyard.

A short break after three packed events of September enabled the team to regroup and focus on the final part of the year in both IMSA and FIA WEC. Preparation and execution will be paramount to help the #63 Lamborghini SC63 LMDh racecar bounce back after some reliability woes of late.

The Petit Le Mans will be an intense experience with a 1000-mile or 10-hour distance, starting at 12:10 local time on Saturday (18:10 CEST) and heading into nighttime. Action will begin on a busy Thursday featuring three practice sessions, with only a single 15-minute qualifying run scheduled for Friday.

Emmanuel Esnault – Racing Director: “We come to the Petit Le Mans to end the IMSA season on a high. We have been building on the encouraging showings of Watkins Glen and Indianapolis, and we are aiming for a smoother ride despite the many challenges that the track provides. We are set to wrap up the first season of a new manufacturer and operation at this incredibly high competitive level, and a good result here would be a good reward for the unbelievable job our team of people has done. We are looking forward to putting everything together this weekend.”
