Kessel Racing looks ahead to the highly anticipated Finali Mondiali

After claiming the COPPA SHELL Drivers Championship with Henry Hassid one round before the season finale, Kessel Racing is eagerly awaiting the Finali Mondiali. Once every year, the Finali Mondiali is a week dedicated to Ferraris from all Series worldwide, bringing drivers, cars and fans together to experience a unique event to celebrate the ‘Prancing Horse’.

After 1998 and 2022, the famous Finali Mondiali will again take place at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. With over 100 cars expected to take to the track, a new format will also be introduced with splitting Qualifying into one timed session and one Superpole session. For the entire duration of the event, the 4.909 kilometre-long-track will be animated by numerous track sessions and Kessel Racing will be right at the centre with a chance of winning a place in the Top-3 in COPPA SHELL AM.

One of the highlights of the weekend will take place on Sunday, when the Ferrari Show will demonstrate a parade from the centre of Imola to the circuit, with numerous cars, including the Ferrari 499P, the protagonists of the FIA WEC as well as the winning Ferrari cars from the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Daytona.

The event will start on Wednesday, 16th October 2024, with the all-important qualifying sessions, followed by the first races on Thursday and many more track actions throughout the weekend. All races can be viewed live on the YouTube Channel @Ferrari.

Ronnie Kessel, Team Principal
“This event is something else! It is one big Ferrari world with the most amazing cars and drivers from all around the world. You almost forget that there is real track action happening, as there is so much to take in. We are incredibly honoured to arrive at Imola as the COPPA SHELL Champions and are looking to end the season on a high in both categories we are competing in.”
