PREMA Racing is set for the final round of the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, and while the team and drivers’ titles were already secured in the penultimate event at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, running at the Italian temple of speed will provide the team with a chance to compete close to home and give its European season a positive conclusion.

PREMA will be running with the trio of Rafael Camara, James Wharton, and Ugo Ugochukwu who have achieved 10 wins and 19 podiums so far. While the Brazilian and the American will look to cap off the year in the best possible way, the Australian, who dominated the Spanish event with two wins, is looking to maximize the result to solidify second place in points.

Not only would achieving good results be a positive way to sign off the year, but it would also be a great foundation for the team to build ahead of the postseason. Monza is expected to provide mixed conditions this weekend. Its high-speed layout, paired with the challenging situation on the forecast, is set to become even more critical, emphasizing versatility, quick reaction, and adaptability.

Rene Rosin – Team Principal
“The season is coming to its conclusion at one of its trickiest and most fascinating racetracks. Even if the titles were already sealed up in our favour, there is still a lot of value in battling at the front at Monza in terms of competition and learning experience. It’s a track where all drivers will race again and that is normally very tricky to get right. We are committed to giving our best effort to maximize the result and as a way to set sights on what’s to come.”
