Speedhouse Racing has confirmed another piece of the puzzle for the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season. Florian Richard will return to the French organization led by Lucas Lasserre to compete in the OPEN championship. The runner-up in the 2024 Rookie Trophy will drive the #33 Ford Mustang, which will represent the Bordeaux region with its number. This will be Richard’s third year behind the wheel of a Speedhouse Racing V8 machine and the youngster is eager to take the next step in NASCAR racing.

“This winter we have been preparing to be at the top of our game both physically and mentally,” said Richard. “It’s a physically demanding sport that requires perfect preparation. We will be ready for the season. My goals for 2025 are clear: I want to travel around Europe and race. It’s been my passion since I was young. Thanks to the Speedhouse junior program led by Lucas, I want to continue to develop and aim for a top spot in the standings. In the 2024 season, I was second among the rookies. Thanks to my partners, without them none of this would be possible.”

Lasserre is excited to have his young talent back on the Speedhouse roster. “I’m really happy to confirm Florian Richard at Speedhouse in the OPEN Championship,” he said. “He is 22 years old and comes from Bordeaux in France. This will be our third year together as he’s a pure Speedhouse Academy Program rider. I am putting a lot of energy into making him a strong driver. Florian had a very strong season last year, finishing second in the Rookie Trophy. With this experience he will definitely be on the next level this season. He always has a positive attitude, he’s focused and motivated.”

“Over the winter we found a new strategy to get stronger and grow faster,” continued Lasserre. “Florian will have my full attention and support as he drives the #33 Ford Mustang. Speedhouse stands for unique services that are tailored to each driver profile. Our processes are efficient and Florian shows that he has achieved his personal goals through this program. Keep pushing, Florian!”

Lasserre and Speedhouse is one of the most experienced combinations on the EuroNASCAR grid, and it’s no coincidence that the French organization is one of the top teams in the series. With Richard, Speedhouse has confirmed its second OPEN driver after Matthias Hauer announced a part-time program for the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season. Andreas Kuchelbacher and Jose Penalta are confirmed for the Rookie Challenge.
