The NASCAR Euro Series and Whelen Engineering are proud to announce the continuation of their long-standing partnership, extending into the 2025 season with two new activations that further solidify Whelen’s presence in European NASCAR racing.

As part of the renewed agreement, Whelen Engineering becomes the official sponsor of the NASCAR Euro Series Lead Car, which will lead the field to green at every race. Equipped with Whelen’s signature light technology, the car will be a visible symbol of safety and performance throughout the season.

Additionally, Whelen becomes the naming partner of the NASCAR Euro Series Restart Zone, the designated area on the main straight of each track where race starts and restarts will be launched during race events. The branded zones will bring greater visibility to Whelen’s commitment to precision and control under high-stakes racing conditions.

“We are incredibly proud of the partnership we’ve built with the NASCAR Euro Series over the past 12 years,” said Peter Tiezzi, General Manager of Motorsports, Whelen Engineering Company, Inc. “Watching the series grow while sharing our commitment to safety, performance, and innovation has been remarkable. As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue supporting the teams, drivers, and fans who make this series so special, and to further strengthen the presence of NASCAR and Whelen Engineering across Europe.”

“Whelen Engineering has always been an amazing partner since 2013, providing always crucial support to grow NASCAR Racing in Europe”. Said Jerome Galpin, President CEO, Team FJ – NASCAR Euro Series. ”We are thus extremely happy to continue racing together and proud to promote their values of safety, performance, and innovation across Europe.”

The NASCAR Euro Series and Whelen Engineering have worked side by side for over a decade since 2013, fueling the series’ growth and international visibility. The continuation of this partnership reinforces Whelen’s leadership in motorsports safety systems and enhances the fan experience across all European rounds of the championship.

The 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season kicks off on April 12-13 at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, with Whelen front and center on and off the track. All races will be streamed live on the EuroNASCAR Youtube channel and several TV partners around the globe.
