GT World Challenge powered by AWS reveals action-packed 2025 support line-up

The 2025 GT World Challenge powered by AWS season is just a few weeks away, with Circuit Paul Ricard preparing to host the opening round on 12–13 April. The trip to France kicks off a run of 10 events, each of which will feature a packed line-up of top-level support racing. These are the series set to join GT World Challenge on the road in 2025.

GT4 EUROPEAN SERIES POWERED BY RAFA RACING CLUB
The biggest GT4 series in the world continues to stage each of its six doubleheader events alongside GT World Challenge, extending an unbroken run that stretches back to 2019. Three close-fought classes ensure that there is fierce competition from start to finish, while the line-up of cars includes some of the biggest manufacturers in the sport.

GT2 EUROPEAN SERIES POWERED BY PIRELLI
Launched in 2021, the GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli delivers entertaining racing between prestigious brands. With the emphasis placed on engine power rather than aerodynamics, the cars are capable of seriously high speeds. All six events run alongside GT World Challenge, including GT2 Europe’s first-ever visit to Zandvoort.

LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo resumes a familiar presence on the support line-up this term, with five of its six events staged alongside GT World Challenge. This is especially good news for fans at the track, as the ferocious Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 puts on a truly spectacular show.

McLAREN TROPHY EUROPE
The one-make McLaren Trophy Europe will stage four of its five events alongside GT World Challenge this term, including a first-ever British round at Brands Hatch and a return to the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa. The finale will also be part of an SRO meeting, joining the FFSA French GT Championship at Circuit Paul Ricard.

FFSA FRENCH GT CHAMPIONSHIP & FFSA TC FRANCE
The mid-summer meeting at Magny-Cours sees GT World Challenge share headline status with the FFSA French GT Championship and FFSA TC France. Both are highly competitive, with multi-class racing and a wide variety of brands. This popular annual event draws big crowds thanks to its fan-friendly atmosphere and wealth of track action, with the FFSA F4 French Championship and the Alpine Elf Cup Series also part of the line-up.

CLIO CUP SERIES
The fast and nimble Renault Clio R.S. V. takes centre stage in this action-packed one-make series, which continues 60 years of motorsport for Renault, with the creation of Gordini R8 in 1966. Clio Cup Series aims to provide competitors with performance, reliability and affordability. Spectators can expect to see remarkably close racing, with more than 40 drivers contesting each event. It will be present at three GT World Challenge meetings this year, all of which are part of the Sprint Cup calendar.

PORSCHE CARRERA CUP FRANCE
Part of the Stuttgart marque’s global network of one-make series, Porsche Carrera Cup France enjoys a long and distinguished history. Now using the 992 model, a mix of ambitious young talents and experienced campaigners ensure fierce competition at each event. It will join up with GT World Challenge at Misano and Valencia, both of which return to the Porsche Carrera Cup France schedule this term.

GB3 CHAMPIONSHIP
The Zandvoort schedule is among the busiest of the 2025 season: in addition to a trio of GT series, there will be single-seater action courtesy of the GB3 Championship. This is one of Europe’s most competitive junior categories and a proven step on the ladder to FIA F3, F2 and Formula 1, with Ollie Bearman the most recent series graduate to make it to the F1 grid. GB3 will race three times during the Zandvoort weekend, with a packed grid of over 20 young drivers out to stake their claim as the next big thing on the way to F1.

GT1 SPORTS CLUB
GT1 Sports Club brings together some of the world’s most incredible hyper-sports cars and allow them to demonstrate their capabilities at premier race circuits. This year, the non-competitive series will join GT World Challenge at Monza.
