Swiss luxury watchmaker Strom joins NASCAR Euro Series as Official Partner

The NASCAR Euro Series is proud to announce Strom, the iconic Swiss watchmaking brand, as an official partner for the 2025, 2026 and 2027 seasons. With a deep-rooted legacy in precision and artistic expression, Strom will bring a unique blend of tradition and innovation to Europe’s premier NASCAR championship by sponsoring the Pole Award and key moments of the series broadcast.
As part of the agreement, Strom will become the title sponsor of the NASCAR Euro Series Pole Award, which honours the fastest driver in Saturday’s qualifying session in both the PRO and OPEN divisions at each event. The Strom Pole Award will recognize the series’ top qualifiers – those who embody the same performance and focus that define Strom’s timepieces.
In addition, Strom will be the official partner of the NASCAR Euro Series Qualifying broadcast, as well as the countdown to the start segment that leads fans into every race. These live moments—where anticipation, intensity, and timing converge—reflect the essence of Strom’s approach to horology.
“It’s a true pleasure to welcome Daniel Strom and his famous brand into the NASCAR Europe family, thanks to this multi-year partnership. We share the same values and quest for precision, performance and excellence. Some of these state-of-the-art timepieces will reward the best NASCAR Euro drivers of the season, which adds again to the prestige of the Series and elevates the stake to win it!” said NASCAR Euro Series President Jerome Galpin.
“We are a proud family-run company, now entering its third generation, with my children involved in the business for over a decade. As we continue to grow the Strom brand internationally, we were searching for the right sponsorship opportunity—something that aligned with our values and passion,” said Daniel Strom. “When this fantastic project was introduced to us by our German distributor Eduard Neitzke, it immediately felt like a perfect fit. I’ve always been fascinated by American cars and motorsports—so much so that I own a Dodge Viper myself. Partnering with the NASCAR Euro Series is not only a strategic move for our brand, but also an exciting chance to bring a unique energy to the fan and competitor experience across Europe.”
Founded in 2001 by Daniel Strom, the brand continues a family legacy that began in the early 1970s with his father, the renowned master of skeletonized timepieces, Armin Strom. Daniel’s passion for craftsmanship was forged in his father’s workshop, and refined through more than a decade at OMEGA, where he helped shape legendary timepieces like the Seamaster Professional Automatic, famously worn by Pierce Brosnan in James Bond’s GoldenEye, and the Michael Schumacher Speedmaster, designed in Ferrari’s signature red and yellow.
In 2001, Daniel created his brand, “STROM,” to pursue a more artistic and philosophical vision of watchmaking—blending fine mechanics with bold design, turning watches into jewellery, and jewellery into art. Today, Strom remains an independent, family-run company, with his wife Rosanna, son Loris, and daughter Alexia all playing key roles in its daily operations. The company is now in its third generation and continues to grow while staying true to its roots in Swiss heritage and craftsmanship.
The 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season kicks off on April 12-13 at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, where Strom’s partnership will be showcased from the first green flag. All qualifying sessions and races will be streamed live on the EuroNASCAR YouTube channel and broadcast internationally.
