Back from a challenging trip to Australia, featuring threatening weather and tight racing, FIA Formula 3 returns to racing this weekend at Bahrain International Circuit. The Sakhir venue, located in the heart of the island state, is set to welcome teams and drivers with stable, hot weather.

Resuming the activity, the PREMA Racing drivers are looking for a comeback, especially in qualifying. Ugo Ugochukwu and Noel León, who scored points finishes in Australia, showed potential in race trim and made steady recoveries from their starting positions, while Brando Badoer faced a tough debut and is relishing a new opportunity on a track that was already used in a recent three-day test.

The Bahrain track is aggressive on tyres, with a rough surface that calls for race management. Series supplier Pirelli has selected the P-Zero Hard tyres for the weekend.

Rene Rosin – Team Principal
“We are coming from a difficult weekend in Australia, and we look to Bahrain to regroup and be back making progress. We had a positive three-day test in Bahrain, which certainly helped, especially the rookie drivers. However, it’s essential to put everything together, especially in qualifying, if we want to be contenders on race day.”
