Christopher Zanella is the new driver for ISR’s 2013 season

The Swiss Christopher Zanella is the new arrival at team ISR for the 2013 World Series by Renault season. The twenty tree year old from Switzerland will debuts in WSbR Series after an interesting career in the lower categories. The kilometres of tests that we did together today in Barcelona confirmed the driver’s ability to the team and make me looking forward to 2013 with enthusiasm.”

The 23 years old Swiss driver Christopher Zanella (born 21st of October 1989) began his career in Karting and changed into Formula Renault 2.0 in 2008 when he secured the title of Swiss Champion on his favourite Monza track in the last race. With small experience of only one season Christopher stepped into challenging Formula 3 Euroseries and finished 3rd in the Rookie ranking with one podium at Hockenheim.  In 2010 he participated in the Italian F3 championship and again was driving some races with Motopark Academy in Euroseries. The following year Zanella finished 2nd in Formula 2 championship with 2 consecutive victories at Magny Cours and 5 more podiums. Second year in F2 he could confirm his racing skills with 3rd place in overall standings.
