FIA GT SERIES: SEYFFARTH DOUBLE UP WITH TWO MERCEDES FOR ZOLDER
Seyffarth Motorsport will run two Mercedes SLS AMG GT3s at Zolder this weekend. The German team will field Brazilian pair Duda Rosa and Paulo Bonificio in car #27 this weekend in the Gentlemen Trophy class. Rosa is well known from his exploits in the UK in the 1980s, racing with the likes of Gil De Ferran and David Coulthard in Formula Ford. In recent year Rosa has been a front runner and race winner in the Brazilian GT series, winning at Campa Grande last season in a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 entered by the Seringal Racing Team.
Fellow Brazilian, Bonificio is a well-known Brazilian racer but has previous European already after outings with a Fischer Racing-Ford GT in 2010 and 2011 in the FIA GT3 Championship. Bonifico has recently competed in the Brazilian GT category, also with a Ford GT.
Seyffarth debuted at Nogaro earlier this month with Jan Seyffarth and Karun Chandhok enjoying a solid start to the season. A test earlier this week at Hockenheim proved fruitful for the team who arrive at Zolder with fresh impetus to challenge further up the PRO Cup field.
