The highlight of the season 2013 is scheduled for this weekend (14th to 17th of November) for the German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin. The racing stable from the German capital city is on start at the Macau Grand Prix of the Formula 3 in China for the third time already. At the season finale of the world’s 30 best Formula 3 drivers on the 6.12 km long city course in the former Portuguese colony, the Swede Felix Rosenqvist (22), the Japanese Yuhi Sekiguchi (25) and the Netherland Dennis van de Laar (19/all Dallara Mercedes) are on start for the Berlin team. „We send a promising drivers trio into the races with these guys. And we will fight about the victory as well“, team principal Peter Mücke said just before the departure to Macau.

Mücke Motorsport already achieved remarkable successes at the last two participations at the F3 Grand Prix. Last year the second place of Felix Rosenqvist and position four for Pascal Wehrlein. At the Macau premiere of the Berlin team in 2011 Yuhi Sekiguchi scored the fourth place as well. The 25 year old, who was the Japanese Formula 3 champion two years ago and who now takes part at the Super GT series of his home country, has already been on track for the racing stable from Berlin in 2013 at the Formula 3 Masters in Zandvoort (Netherlands). Dennis van de Laar, who started at the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2013, is on track for Mücke Motorsport for the first time at his debut race in Macau.

The big hopes of the Berlin team for the race in Macau are certainly on Felix Rosenqvist, who finished Formula 3 this year as European vice champion with Mücke Motorsport and won the Masters in Zandvoort (for the second time after 2011). Almost exactly one year ago, the Swede scored the first podium placing for Mücke Motorsport on second position at the F3 Grand Prix in Macau. „We want to knot onto that now“, team principal Peter Mücke said. „The races on the city course are not easy, you need to be fully concentrated, have a lot of experience and good positions at the qualifying to muscle in at the front of the field.“
