Two podium placings, one pole position and further rankings in the top ten are the profit of the German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin at the sixth season event of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with the runs 16 to 18 this weekend (27 th to 29th of June) at the Norisring in Nürnberg. Lucas Auer finished third on Saturday and Sunday morning and eighth on Sunday afternoon. That way the Austrian confirmed his overall third position behind the French frontrunner Esteban Ocon (both Dallara Mercedes) and the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Dallara Volkswagen), who won all three races at the 2.3 km long city course.

Second best driver of the racing stable from the German capital city is the Swede Felix Rosenqvist on overall position six, who claimed the pole position for the race on Saturday and finished two times sixth and one time eleventh at the Norisring. Each once in the point rankings have been the Israeli Roy Nissany on position seven on Saturday (third time in the top ten this season) and the Colombian Tatiana Calderon (all Dallara Mercedes), who finished in the top ten for the second time on position ten on Sunday afternoon. kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport is on overall position two of the team rankings at the moment.

„All in all we can be satisfied with the results according to the changing track conditions, even if we could have reached more. But there has been a lot that we couldn’t influence at the partly dry and wet track. Lucas made the best out of it and drove constantly with a great performance. Felix scored more points again“, team principal Peter Mücke said. „I am really happy about Roy and Tatiana, who made it into the top ten. That is the proof for their continuous development.“ The Colombian made her way up to position eight and finished on ten coming from the end of the field after a Safety car phase at the beginning of the 18th run on Sunday afternoon. Roy Nissany was involved in the crash at the start and discarded. Felix Rosenqvist and Lucas Auer had bad luck with the blocked track after the crashes. Both fell behind a few positions due to that. When the Swede finished on position eleven behind his Colombian team colleague, the Austrian reached position eight after a furious catch up race.

„We are not where we wanted to be at the beginning of the second season half “, team principal Peter Mücke said. „But we are in this business for a long time by now and we know that a lot can still happen. We can reach a maximum of 75 points each racing weekend. We want to work on that to get as many of those points as we can – and we will start to achieve that at the seventh season event in Moscow in about two weeks.“ Roy Nissany and Tatiana Calderon are able to muscle in at the front of the field at the last five racing weekends as well. „Both proofed that. If they are able to get good results at the qualifying, both could reach a lot“, Peter Mücke said.
