Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport with six point ratings at FIA Formula 3 EC
Berlin team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport achieved six top ten placements and one fastest race lap at the second to last FIA Formula 3 European Championships season event in the Italian Imola at the weekend (10th to 12th October). Most of the points for the German Capitol’s racing team were collected on the 4.909 kilometre long track of the “Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari“ by Austrian Lucas Auer, having finished season races 28, 29 and 30 as sixth, fifth and eighth and currently ranks as overall fourth. His team colleague Felix Rosenqvist came closest to a podium place as fourth in the first race on Saturday morning. The Swede, listed in ninth place in the table, marked the fastest race lap during this race. The race on Sunday saw him finish in ninth place while he was eliminated in the afternoon following a collision in the eleventh lap.
Points were also scored by Columbian Tatiana Calderon who finished as ninth on Saturday. The day after, she was 14th and was eliminated in the sixth lap of the final race. The latter also happened to her Mücke team collegue Roy Nissany (all Dallara Mercedes) just two laps before the first race’s finish. Following the 21st place of Saturday morning, the Israeli barely missed the top ten as twelfth in the afternoon. The overall table now lists Tatiana Calderon as 16th two places ahead of her colleague. The team ratings show kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport in third position.
Victory at Imola’s first race was secured by French Esteban Ocon (Dallara Mercedes) who secured the championship title prematurely with an additional fourth and third place, while Brit Tom Blomqvist and Dutch Max Verstappen (both Dallara Volkswagen) won the second and third race. The last remaining season event of the FIA Formula 3 European Championships will take place this weekend (17th to 19th October) at the Hockenheimring.
