Nick Heidfeld – Rebellion R-One AER #12 : « We have been getting quicker all through the weekend. I managed to keep the tyres hot and that helped me to achieve my fast lap. We made some changes on the car since free practice 3 and they had a positive impact on the performance. »
Nicolas Prost – Rebellion R-One AER #12 : « I had some traffic during my flying laps and I didn’t have a clear lap, but we are on Pole and that’s the most important thing. We are making progress. The gap to the factory cars is still pretty big but I think we are not doing a bad job. »
Bart Hayden – Rebellion Racing Team Manager : « We faced some technical issues during the free practice sessions, but the team did a great job by improving the pace of the cars after each session and we did the job in qualifying. Nick’s fastest lap is impressive and reward for the work done on the cars. We are set up for the race and it should be exciting because our cars are well matched. We would like to get another 1 – 2 in the LMP1 Privateer after what we achieved at Le Mans.»
