12H Epilog Brno, another true endurance challenge for Tutumlu
Spaniard of Kurdish ancestry will take part in another endurance race, the Hankook 12H Epilog Brno, next 9-10 October. Tutumlu will be at the wheel of a Leipert Motorsport-entered Lamborghini Huracan following his SPX class win at the 24 hours of Barcelona. Leipert and the Sant´Agata Bolognese-based brand place their trust in Tutumlu again.
Isaac Tutumlu will have another endurance event ahead next October, counting towards the 24h Series. The international championship organized by Creventic heads to Brno for its season finale, for a 12-hour event taking place at the historic Czech race track. The Barcelona-born driver will return with a Lamborghini Huracan entered by Leipert Motorsport. The German squad adds Tutumlu to driver lineup again, as the Spanish racer of Kurdish roots performed excellently at the 24 hours of Barcelona by taking the SPX class win and bringing 6th place overall home. Russia´s Vadim Gatlin, who already joined Leipert in Barcelona, will team up with Tutumlu once again. Last but not least, Leipert has named Briton Adrian Watt as third driver.
“I must acknowledge that Brno is a highly motivating event. I´ve never visited this country before and, of course, the track in completely new for me. But Brno is another classic motorsports venue and every driver would love to drive there. After winning at the 24 hours of Barcelona, I think we need to take aim at next goal, and Brno is a nice place to achieve another brilliant result”, Tutumlu underlines. The GT driver adds “we still don´t know if our Lamborghini will fight for honors in SPX class or, instead, A6. For me it is a new opportunity to gain experience with this car, with which I´m getting quicker and quicker. I would particularly like to thank Leipert and Lamborghini for the confidence they have one more time place in me”.
