Full Blancpain GT Series season for Grasser Racing Team
Austrian squad Grasser Racing Team will race in all ten rounds of the 2016 Blancpain GT Series with several Lamborghini Huracán. Grasser Racing, which took the maiden win for the Huracán at its debut race in Monza last year, will again have a line-up combining experience and young and upcoming talent.
In the highly contested Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup, Grasser Racing will compete with three Lamborghini Huracán GT3. Nici Pohler and Mirko Bortolotti share the cockpit of one of the Italian sportscars and so will Luca Stolz and Michele Beretta. Stefan Rosina and Jeroen Bleekemolen will complete the driver line-up in the third car.
Grasser Racing will also race in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. Vadim Gitlin, Mirko Bortolotti and Jeroen Bleekemolen are on one car, and Luca Stolz, Michele Beretta will share the wheel of the second Huracan with the winner of the 2012 Total 24 Hours of Spa, Andrea Piccini. An additional third car competing for a top result will be entered in the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
Gottfried Grasser (Team Manager GRT): “I am really looking forward to the great challenge in 2016. After our experience with the new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 last season, we are sure that we will be at the start with quite a competitive race car this season.”
