REBELLION RACING – 6 HOURS OF COTA PREVIEW
For the fourth year in a row the FIA World Endurance Championship is back to Texas for the sixth round of the 2016 championship at the Circuit Of The Americas near Austin.
The race will run into the night, starting at 5pm local time and going through to 11pm, night racing always adds a little spice to a promising and exciting 6 hour race !
The 5.513-kilometre Circuit of the Americas features a demanding and spectacular layout with significant elevation changes. With 20 turns mixing high speed and slow corners there are with plenty of opportunities for overtaking and strategy.
REBELLION Racing is confident after their strong result at Mexico, just two weeks ago, where they finished in 5th place overall and won the LMP1 Privateer class.
Going into the 6 Hours of COTA, REBELLION Racing is leading the LMP1 Privateer classification of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The Swiss team is aiming to add a third victory in Texas to strengthen their positions in the championship.
The driver line up of the #13 Rebellion R-One AER car remains unchanged as Alexandre imperatori, Dominik Kraihamer and Mathéo Tuscher will share driving duties.
