“Motorsport.TV is thrilled to renew this production and broadcasting agreement with V de V Sports for its 2017 season. We’ve accompanied Eric Van de Vyver in the development of his series over the past five years. The championships have continued to expand, gain importance and are now a reference in the world of endurance racing. This agreement with Motorsport.TV – part of the Motorsport Network group – will provide the series with significant international visibility: our Facebook page has over 2 million likes; a video platform which will be available for everyone on every device (tablets, smartphones…) is about to be launched and finally the international channel will continue to develop its presence all over the world,” declared Jean-Luc ROY, President of Motorsport TV LLC.
Eric Van de Vyver is extremely satisfied with this new agreement signed with Motors TV/Motorsport.tv after working alongside the production company for several years. “This year we will be offering more to our teams, drivers, partners and sponsors, involved at different levels in V de V Sports’ championships and organisation, by boosting their profiles via international visibility on Motorsport.TV. The fabulous Live Streaming platform will include live pit-lane interviews and slow motion replays, while we’ll also be devoting more time to the details of each race this year, thanks to a second 26-minute program which will produced and broadcasted by our trusted team at Motorsport.TV.”
The association between Motors TV and the American group Motorsport Network – specialised in the digital domain (810 million page viewings, 210 million visitors, 3.5 million Facebook followers) resulted in the creation of the largest worldwide digital network specialised in cars and motorsport.
Furthermore, the collaboration between this digital giant and this international broadcaster – holder of 130 broadcasting rights agreements and broadcaster for 700 live events in 2017 – gave birth to Motorsport.TV, a TV and on-demand video network specialised in the car and motorsports sector.
The Motorsport Network group offers a 360° vision of motorsports, which is extended through its social media accounts – an extremely vast community of nearly 3.5 million Facebook fans, 500 000 Twitter followers – and which has over 460 million pages viewed by Motorsport.com’s 35 million individual visitors each year (over its 22 editions in 16 languages). This digital network was completed by the launch of the OTT platform (Over The Top => www.motorsport.tv) which allows fans to subscribe each month (3,99 $) or for a year (39,9 $) to an online platform of programs produced by Motorsport.TV.
