Dubai is calling: the 2019 CREVENTIC SERIES powered by Hankook start in the UAE
Over the years, starting the new motor racing season at Dubai Autodrome has become a good tradition for teams and drivers from all over the world. In 2019, they can do so once more as the CREVENTIC SERIES powered by Hankook will again start its new season in the United Arab Emirates. Like this year, Dutch agency CREVENTIC in co-operation with the Dutch National Racing Team is organising back-to-back weekends with the Hankook 3x3H DUBAI as a round of the 24H PROTO SERIES powered by Hankook scheduled for 5-6 January, 2019 and the Hankook 24H DUBAI as a round of the 24H GT SERIES and 24H TCE SERIES one week later, 11-13 January, 2019. Around 70 teams have already signed up for the 24-hour race, the first international endurance racing event of the new calendar year. The races in Dubai will serve as the opening round of the 2019 ‘Championship of the Continents’ in the various series.
Hankook 3X3H DUBAI
Like in 2018, prototypes will get the action at Dubai Autodrome underway with three races with a duration of three hours each on 5-6 January, 2019. There will be separate classifications and prize-giving ceremonies for each of the races. A wide variety of prototypes will be admitted, from P2 and P3 cars to CN and PX class machinery. “Prototype races are very special and we are looking forward to welcoming many prototype teams and drivers in Dubai,” says Ole Dörlemann on behalf of CREVENTIC. “If teams have a prototype of any kind and want to race in Dubai, we strongly advise them to contact us, we will do everything we can to accommodate them.
Hankook 24H DUBAI
The Hankook 24H DUBAI for GTs, touring cars and 24h specials hardly needs any further introduction. It has long established itself as one of the major international endurance races and many renowned teams and drivers have enjoyed success in the event that will see its 14th running from 11-13 January, 2019. Once again, the race is counting towards the 24H GT SERIES and the 24H TCE SERIES, both powered by Hankook. The provisional entry list already includes around 70 teams with a wide variety of cars, from impressive and powerful GT3 machines to compact and fuel-efficient TCR touring cars. Various former overall and class winners from the event will be returning to Dubai, aiming at repeated success.
Popular elements of the event in Dubai like the rent-a-car rides and the welcome party with barbecue are again scheduled for next year. With almost 15 years of experience, CREVENTIC is also the number 1 specialist when it comes to the logistical aspects related to the race in Dubai. Once again, CREVENTIC is offering various transport solutions for cars and equipment from almost any location in the world to Dubai Autodrome and back. Air freight, sea freight and other options can be arranged. Teams participating in the Hankook 24H COTA USA, the final round of the 2018 series, can opt for direct transport from the United States to the United Arab Emirates with delivery well in time for the event in Dubai. Catering, travel and accommodation packages are available as well. Further information can be found at www.24hseries.com
