FFF Racing by ACM are all set for the third round and the fifth and sixth races of the Blancpain GT Series Asia this coming weekend (30 June – 1 July) and seek to extend their championship advantage at the head of table as at series travels to Suzuka, Japan.

Martin Kodric and Dennis Lind have shone for the Chinese-based squad this year in the #19 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in what is an all-silver line-up. The season started with the runner-up position at Sepang, followed by a sixth-place finish. On to Chang International Circuit and the duo were fifth and second giving them the lead in the championship with 70 points; albeit chasing that elusive first victory of the season.

“Suzuka is the most challenging circuit on the race calendar but after great first two rounds we are feeling confident and are looking forward to both of the Japanese races,” said Kodric with reference to the following event at Fuji. “Everything is working well, even if wins have slipped out of our hands twice this year, so getting that victory at Suzuka would be really special!”

Kodric’s comments were echoed by teammate Lind who is especially looking forward to racing at the John Hugenholtz-designed circuit. “Martin and I are in a good position going into Suzuka, a track which I look forward to a lot as it is one of the most iconic racetracks there is,” the Dane said. “We still have our first victory yet to come, and I’m sure we will do anything in our position to fulfil that this weekend.”

The sister #63 Pro-Am entry of Marco Mapelli and Hiroshi Hamaguchi has also enjoyed considerable success, with a double podium courtesy of two third positions at the opening race of the season at Sepang. Round two saw them win the Pro-Am class with fourth place in the first race and follow that up with another fourth place in class in race two. With 67 points on the board, the duo are four clear of their nearest rivals heading to Japan.

While the team are enjoying great success in Blancpain GT Series Asia, Super Trofeo Asia is also a happy hunting ground for FFF Racing by ACM this year. Heading to the third round at Suzuka this coming weekend, the team are first and second in the championship after four races and three wins.

Andrea Amici and Artur Janosz have dominated the championship to date with a double victory in Malaysia, backed up with another win at Chang International Circuit and a further podium position. This places them atop of the standings by 12 points ahead of #19 teammates Jack Bartholomew and James Pull.
