Tutumlu expects to extend the podium streak after strong runs at Oschersleben, Zolder or Nürburgring.
Isaac Tutumlu will head to Hockenheim for the 2019 DMV GTC season finale, the German-based racing series in which the Spaniard of Kurdish ancestry takes part at the wheel of a Car Collection Motorsport-run Audi R8 LMS Evo defending the colors of Kurdistan Racing Team. Besides, Tutumlu will also contest the Dunlop 60 race with Dirg Parhofer, the full-season teammate.
Tutumlu brought the maiden win home for Kurdistan Racing Team at Oschersleben and also stepped onto the podium at Zolder and Nürburgring. Tutumlu underlines that “I’m delighted to have achieved so many brilliant results during the first season of Kurdistan Racing Team on the European motorsport scene. It’s the last race for us this season and we couldn’t have a better place than Hockenheim, which I have loads of experience there from my Porsche Supercup days and testing days. I really like this circuit.” Tutumlu finally underlines that “I will team up with Dirg Parhofer once again in the Dunlop 60 and solo in the DMV GTC. My goals haven’t changed, to deliver a strong performance and bring home good results for my team.”
The Dunlop 60 race will take place on Friday at 16.45 (CET GMT+2) with 30-minute DMV GTC race scheduled on Saturday at 16.10 (CET GMT+2). Both races will be broadcasted live on YouTube.
