PREMA Racing will continue in its postseason preparations next week (October 28/29) at Jerez de la Frontera. The Southern Spanish track is set to be home to the second collective test of late 2020 for the FIA Formula 3 Championship.

With one session down at Barcelona, the team will feature two returning drivers and two new additions.

In both days, the #1 car will be driven by Arthur Leclerc. The 20-year-old from Monte Carlo, who is coming from the recent Formula Regional European round at Monza, impressed the team in Barcelona and is looking forward to continuing the positive experience.

Norwegian Dennis Hauger will also be back to duty. The 17-year-old left a solid impression in the previous test and will carry-on additional work on the #2 car.

The #3 car will be shared by two drivers at their maiden F3 experience with Prema. In day 1, it will be time for Caio Collet to make his way to the track with the team’s F3 operation. The 18-year-old Brazilian, who is currently fighting for the 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup title, raced for PREMA in one event of the 2019 ADAC Formula 4 series. In the same year, he clinched the French Formula 4 title.

On day 2, Danish racer Oliver Rasmussen will join his Formula Regional teammate Leclerc to take his first steps aboard the powerful Dallara machinery to continue his excellent form of late at the 4.4-km Jerez Angel Nieto circuit.

Arthur Leclerc
“I’m really looking forward to continuing the job we started in Barcelona! The FIA F3 car is great to drive because you can bring a lot more speed in the corner than my current car, so I’m quite excited to be back. Having already taken my first steps in Barcelona, this time I will have a better understanding of where to focus my work at Jerez.”

Dennis Hauger
“I’m extremely happy to test with Prema again and to get back in the car. The previous test was pretty good with aspects to improve. The communication with the team felt great too, and I’m ready to keep up the work. I’ve never been on this track before, so this will be a new experience as well… it should be interesting!”

Caio Collet
“I’m delighted to join Prema for the FIA F3 test at Jerez. It’s one of the best team out there, so it’s a great opportunity, and I’m looking forward to it. After the day of testing I had in Barcelona, I will have fewer things to discover so I will be able to focus more on my driving and on gaining experience.”

Oliver Rasmussen
“I’m very excited to join Prema for the last official FIA F3 test at Jerez! I really want to thank them for this opportunity as it is important to prepare for next year.”
