The FIA Formula 2 Championship is set for its first European outing of the year and will start a pivotal part of the season from a friendly ground for PREMA Racing. Competing at Imola, the team will run on the closest track to home and on a circuit that made motorsports history throughout many decades.
Back running after his front-row start at Melbourne, Andrea Kimi Antonelli will also be racing at home, a few kilometers away from his native Bologna. The Mercedes-AMG F1 Team Junior has made quick progress since his debut as a rookie in Bahrain, achieving several points finishes, and is looking to keep the same drive in Imola.

Ollie Bearman also showed impressive speed, taking pole at Jeddah before making his Formula 1 debut with Scuderia Ferrari. The British racer is aiming to make a breakthrough and build the momentum for the rest of the year.

Welcoming teams and drivers for round four of 2024, the 4.9-kilometer venue made of fast corners, blind crests, and tough chicanes has everything needed for an exciting weekend, where car and tyre management will again be key. Series supplier Pirelli will bring tye P-Zero Medium Yellow as the Prime choice, and the P-Zero Supersoft Purple as the Option.
