The PREMA Racing Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine programme will be back in action this weekend as the series hits the second round of 2024 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. The 7-kilometer venue, nested in the Ardennes forest, is as always a unique challenge for its technical and environmental variables. With high-speed corners, elevation changes, and unpredictable weather, Spa-Francorchamps requires teams and drivers to be equally skilled and adaptable.

Entering round 2, Rafael Camara will be back on the same track that handed him his maiden FRECA pole and win in 2023. The Brazilian wants to keep momentum high this weekend, after securing a win and the Driver Championship lead in the season opener.

Rookies James Wharton and Ugo Ugochukwu are hoping to shine too. The Australian has won twice at Spa-Francorchamps in F4, and posted a podium finish at Hockenheim, while the American is aiming to rebound from a weekend where he showed speed but faced a challenging qualifying session.

Lining-up with good promise, the team is looking forward to a positive trip to Belgium.

Rene Rosin – Team Principal
“Coming from a very positive first round of the season at Hockenheim, we know we must keep pushing, as Spa-Francorchamps is one of the trickiest events of the year. It is a venue like no other, and execution is crucial to cope with the challenges it can put a team through. However, we have a proven winner there and two impressive rookies to rely on. We feel ready and prepared for the weekend.”
