Nicola Lacorte set for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season finale
Curtain is set to fall on the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine as Monza circuit hosts this weekend (26-27 October) the last round of the season.
Following an intensive FIA Formula 3 testing, Nicola Lacorte is set to hit the high-speed newly resurfaced 5.7km track, racing the Trident Motorsport single-seater car.
At the Temple of Speed, the 17-year-old BWT Alpine F1 Team driver secured a positive seventh-place finish last year in the Italian F4 Championship.
After Thursday’s collective test, action at Monza begins today with two more test sessione at 10:00 am and 14:05 pm. Qualifying one will start on at 8:30 am, ahead of the first race at 13:35 pm. Sunday’s qualifying two will take place at 8:30 am, followed by the final race at 14:55.
Both races, as well as qualifying, will be live streamed on the championship’s official YouTube channel
