GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS – Official poster revealed one month before spectacular season launch at Circuit Paul Ricard

Circuit Paul Ricard is preparing to host a thrilling weekend of motorsport and family fun on 12/13 April. The official poster has been revealed for this eagerly anticipated event, which will bring more than 170 GT cars from five high-level series to the French track.

On Saturday evening GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS launches its season with a six-hour race. Comprising almost 60 cars from 10 prestigious manufacturers, this promises to be action-packed from the start at 18:00 until the finish at midnight. Fans can expect a spectacular show as the sun sets and the headlights cut through the darkness, while a fireworks display will light up the sky above the circuit at 22:00.

On Sunday there will be almost five hours of competition to look forward to from the GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli, GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club and Lamborghini Super Trofeo, as well as demo runs from vintage Formula 1 machinery and GT1 Sports Club. Each series brings its own distinct style of competition, and cars from all five are displayed on the poster.

In total, the weekend comprises seven races and close to 12 hours of competitive action, and an incredible 18 hours with cars on-track. All of this can be enjoyed from grandstands positioned at key areas around the circuit, allowing spectators the ideal vantage point from which to see cars hit top-speed and navigate the best overtaking zones.

But this isn’t just about what happens on the track. A wide range of entertainment will be on offer, with something to suit all tastes and ages. A special fan village at the heart of the paddock will be the key destination. Here, spectators can follow the races on giant screens, grab a souvenir shot in the photo booth, enjoy music, refuel at a variety of food stands, and lots more.

The paddock itself is open to spectators and is a great place to meet drivers and team personnel. The huge trucks and futuristic motorhomes are a sight to behold, and you’ll also be able to see the vintage Formula 1 machines and the GT1 hypercars on display, getting up close with these jaw-dropping machines.

There is further outdoor fun at the Xtrem Park. Located on-site at Circuit Paul Ricard, this modern leisure facility offers activities such as quad biking, simulators, and mini golf, as well the Grand Prix Burger restaurant. You can even test your own racing skills at the Circuit Paul Ricard kart track.

For those who want to get closer to the competitors, a pit walk and autograph session will be organised at 13:00 on Saturday, giving the public a chance to meet the GT World Challenge Europe drivers and watch the teams while they prepare cars in the garages. A second autograph session for the GT4 drivers will take place at the same time on Sunday.

All of this is offered at exceptional value. A weekend ticket costs just 20€, which includes access to the paddock and all grandstands. A Saturday-only ticket costs just 15€ and also includes access to the paddock and grandstands. Kids under 16 can attend for free and parking for the event is offered without charge.
